Data You Give Us Directly
Search terms entered into a page widget are sent to the provider operating that widget. We do not maintain a local case-search database or retain the search terms. If a visitor sends an email, we retain the message and contact details needed to respond or address the request.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our hosting and analytics services may receive routine technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and visit time. Cookies may help measure aggregate use and support basic site functions. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some features may work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and correspondence data may be used to operate the resource, respond to a message, protect against misuse, assess aggregate performance, and comply with a legal obligation. We do not use visitor information to build court records, case files, or profiles about other people.
No Court-Record Data on File
Prentiss County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of court dockets or personal case-record information. It provides general routing information for official court and clerk channels. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers operate the search widgets that appear on some pages. Their terms, privacy notices, fees, retention practices, and results controls apply to information submitted to them. Review their notices before entering information, and confirm any court matter through the official record custodian.
Links to Other Websites
Links to clerks, courts, MEC/PAMEC, archival resources, and other sites leave this resource. Those destinations have their own privacy practices and security controls. We do not control their availability, tracking, or handling of information supplied after departure.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be handled by service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support this resource, by an outside search provider when a widget is used, or by an authority when disclosure is legally required. Each recipient should receive only what is reasonably needed for that role.
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for the limited information we handle. No online system can promise perfect security. Do not send payment-card information, full birth dates, or sensitive court information through an unverified channel; ask the owning clerk for its approved process.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted personal information so the matter can be reviewed.
Your Data Rights
Visitors may ask about personal information submitted directly to this resource, request correction where appropriate, or ask about deletion subject to legal, security, and operational needs. Mississippi court access is governed by the judiciary's own record-access policy alongside applicable public-record procedures, including Mississippi Code Section 25-61-5; this privacy policy does not alter those court rules.
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy when practices or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted here with its effective date.
